About
I create mainly acrylic paintings about nature and including a human element without utilizing the human form. I use interference colours resulting in a glowy effect. As well, when the light strikes the surface from a different angle, the details disappear and the forms appear to be made of precious metal.
It is my utmost desire to convey and instill a sense of utter enchantment with my subjects, of deep honor and reverence, for my work to serve as an illuminating catalyst for positive change.
By repeating spiritual, religious, or human-made logos and product imagery in patterns either beneath, above, or composing the structures themselves, I aim to inspire the viewer to consider that all comes from the earth and all is interrelated, essentially, one and the same. It is my hopes to inspire a questioning of perception, a shift in perspective, toward a deeper regard for the sacred preciousness and vulnerability of our ecosystems, and the interdependency of all aspects.
